#Poland train crash kills one, injures at least 20

An intercity train travelling from Lublin in southeastern Poland to Szczecin in northwestern Poland crashed around 100 kilometers south of Warsaw, just before 12 PM local time. One person is dead and at least 20 injured, with four people in critical condition. Shortly after the accident, the Polish Railway Engineers' Union announced a protest will take place Thursday calling for increased safety measures.
