23-year-old Ayanda Dludla is out on bail

The man accused of driving the scholar transport vehicle in the crash that killed 14 learners in January is now out on bail.

The Vanderbijlpark Magistrates’ Court has granted 23-year-old Ayanda Dludla 3-thousand-rand bail, despite the State warning that he could intimidate witnesses, evade trial and that his life is under threat.

Dludla will return to court for trial from the 9th to the 17th of November.
