How a Greek island is helping residents throw away less

Residents of the Greek island of Tilos now throw away 43% less than before its zero-waste project began.

Door-to-door collections, waste bags with individual QR codes and a mobile app help residents sort their rubbish and track their recycling. But changing habits started with people including schoolchildren who helped bring their parents on board.
