The Indian capital New Delhi is gearing up to host the 18th BRICS summit this coming weekend.

A number of leaders are expected to attend the bloc's gathering. South Africa will be represented by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The BRICS leaders will focus on expanding trade, enhancing financial and institutional cooperation.
