China's smart farming brings the bounty of the land this autumn harvest#coolchina

#China's autumn #harvest went into full swing this month. Fields across four regions will be alive until late October with labor and smart tech working together to secure the country’s grain yield.

In the rolling hills of Dazhou City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, customized mini #harvesters work on steep, fragmented farmland, with a local digital platform connecting farmers to machinery teams.

In Yili, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Beidou-guided harvesters cover 4.74 million mu (about 316,000 hectares) of corn, combining picking, peeling and straw recycling in one pass.

In Rongcheng City, east China's Shandong Province, intelligent #drones carry out mixed spraying, protecting crops from diseases and pests at a critical growing stage.

In the steep Honghe Hani rice terraces of southwest China's Yunnan Province, transport drones act as "air porters," replacing backbreaking manual labor and speeding up the harvest.
