- PUTIN RESUMES ATTACKS ON UKRAINE
Even though the call between Presidents Trump and Putin was described as "positive" by sources familiar with the matter, this did not stop Russia from orchestrating another attack on Ukraine. Five people are reported dead and 35 wounded.

- DEADLY TRAIN-TRUCK COLLISION IN CENTRAL POLAND
A train carrying some 120 passengers crashed into a truck at a rail crossing in central Poland. Dozens of people have been injured, and one fatality has also been reported.
