DFC Boosts India's Freight Capacity

India’s Dedicated Freight Corridor network has reached 2,843 km of operational length, comprising 1,337 km of the Eastern DFC and 1,506 km of the Western DFC. Fully electrified and designed for high-capacity freight, the network enables faster cargo movement, reduces transit delays and logistics costs, and strengthens connectivity with ports and Gati Shakti terminals.
