पंजाब के Sangrur में Gulzar Singh की मौत के बाद नशे के मुद्दे पर सियासत तेज हो गई है। गुलजार सिंह ने Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema के सामने ‘चिट्टा’ की खुलेआम बिक्री और अपने बेटे की नशे की लत का मुद्दा उठाया था। बाद में उनकी मौत और उससे पहले सामने आए वीडियो ने कई गंभीर सवाल खड़े किए हैं। मामले में FIR, गिरफ्तारियां और SIT जांच के साथ NCSC ने भी पंजाब सरकार से रिपोर्ट मांगी है।

वहीं, Rahul Gandhi ने Punjab Government पर गंभीर आरोप लगाते हुए हरपाल सिंह चीमा के इस्तीफे और स्वतंत्र एवं निष्पक्ष जांच की मांग की है। Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann ने पलटवार करते हुए विपक्ष पर मौत पर राजनीति करने का आरोप लगाया है।

क्या गुलजार सिंह की मौत के पीछे नशे का मुद्दा और कथित दबाव की भूमिका थी? पंजाब में ‘चिट्टा’ की समस्या पर सरकार की जवाबदेही क्या है? और इस पूरे मामले में जांच से क्या सामने आएगा?
