Lucas Legabe in court for cocaine theft case

The bail application of a 49-year-old man accused in the theft of a multimillion-rand cocaine consignment from a Hawks premises in Port Shepstone continues today.

Lucas Legabe appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrates' Court yesterday for his formal bail application, following his arrest last month by the Hawks in Pretoria.

The case relates to the theft of 541 kilograms of cocaine, valued at about R200 million. Taliesha Naidoo is at court and joins us.
