Police and Education MEC lead schools raid

Twenty-three schools in Gauteng have been targeted so far in the ongoing unannounced search-and-seizure school safety operation.

Led by the South African Police Service - alongside Gauteng Education MEC Lebogang Maile - these raids are being conducted to strengthen school safety, curb criminality, and combat gangsterism, substance abuse, and the possession of dangerous weapons.
