After much anticipation, Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin held an hour-long call following U.S. envoys’ visit to Kyiv and Moscow, yet little is known about the details of the conversation. But that did not stop Russia from attacking Kyiv again, with at least 5 people killed and 35 others wounded.

- RUSSIAN DRONES HIT UKRAINE-MOLDOVA BORDER CROSSING
Two people have been killed in a Russian attack on a border crossing between Ukraine and Moldova. The Starokozache checkpoint was struck by drones launched in the southern Odesa region of Ukraine.

- UN: RUSSIAN ATTACKS AFFECTED 120,000 CIVILIANS
More than 120,000 people were affected by Russian strikes in the second quarter of 2026, UN Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric noted on Tuesday, emphasizing the impact of Russia’s invasion on civilians and expressing hope that peace talks resume.
