Municipalities urged to restore accountability: Pres Cyril Ramaphosa

President Cyril Ramaphosa has called on municipalities to restore accountability and enhance it. He was addressing the meeting of the Extended Presidential Coordinating Council in Boksburg, attended by stakeholders involved in efforts under the National Water Crisis Committee. The head of state emphasised that water services must be ring-fenced and financial stability protected. He says qualified engineers, technicians and financial administrators must be at the centre of priority appointments at municipalities.
