Restored chalets reopen at Letaba Rest Camp

The Forestry, Fisheries and Environment Minister, David Maynier, has lauded the reconstructed chalets and a bridge at the Letaba rest camp in the northern Kruger National Park.

The facilities have been reconstructed to withstand harsh conditions.

The reconstruction of the camp cost SANParks about R30 million.

The Rest Camp had experienced flood damages in January 2026.
