South African missing in Mozambique

A 30-year-old South African national from Limpopo remains unaccounted for following an attack at a camp in Mozambique's Niassa Province on the 3rd of September.

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation says four other South African nationals who were also caught in the incident are safe, with two already back home.

The five were part of a group providing services at the camp. DIRCO says Mozambican security forces are searching for the missing citizens with SA's embassy in Mozambique getting frequent updates on the search.
