New Road, R101 intersection opened to traffic after aircraft crash

The New Road and the R101 intersection in Glen Austin, Midrand has been opened to traffic following an aircraft crash on Tuesday afternoon.

The Cessna 172 aircraft is reported to have experienced an engine failure before attempting a forced landing a few metres from Grand Central Airport.
