The house we purchased had a Ring Doorbell that worked until we upgraded our router... then it stopped recording video because it was an older model and wouldn't link to the new network... so you can have a Ring Doorbell that still works as a doorbell, but doesn't record video. The cops probably thought she was lying or something. How about that Nancy Guthrie case... where they were still able to retrieve video after her subscription expired ? That's a whole other topic. Abuse of power in this case for sure.
