Experts of non-communicable diseases from the globe converge in Nairobi

One out of every three Kenyans die from non communicable diseases .A knowledge exchange convening, drawing health experts from across the globe has initiated innovations at both community and policy level to end the crisis. While in Nairobi, the experts say the innovations are at a beginning stage, in a world where non-communicable diseases (NCDs) account for 74% of global deaths, with the burden being most acutely felt in low- and middle-income countries, where 85% of premature mortality occurs.
