Man accused of murder during Spring Day celebration to return to court on 27 October

The 53-year-old man who allegedly stabbed a 20-year-old to death in Refilwe, Cullinan, outside of Pretoria, has briefly appeared in court.

He is expected back in court in October to allow for further investigations.

Tshepang Nyathi was stabbed during Spring Day celebrations last week, after tensions escalated when some youth splashed bystanders and passersby with water.
