Stars reveal their true colors in viral night sky footage #coolchina

A short video of a "colorful starry sky" has recently gone viral online.

Stars aren't just white – they're blue, pink, gold and orange, like fairy lights strung across the night sky.

Astrophotographer Cui Ning, who captured the viral video, says stars have distinct colors, but they're hard for the naked eye to pick up in the dark.
