The vast majority of the Yemeni population lives in Ansarullah territory, including the capital city Sanaa. The east of the country is mostly barren.<br><br>KSA-backed forces are known as <i>Saudi–Himyari</i> forces or <i>Saudi–Himyarite</i> forces. Their leadership lives under house arrest in Riyadh.<br><br>UAE-backed forces are known as the STC. They are separatists who want to partition Yemen. They are also advised by Russia&#39;s Patriot PMC.<br><br>The two dissident groups are also composed of Colombian, Pakistani, Sudanese and Chadian mercenaries.<br><br>Many of the Sudanese and Chadians are tricked into thinking they&#39;re getting security jobs, only to be deployed in the Yemen and Libya warzones. In the latter, they fight for the UAE, Egypt, France and Russia backed LNA led by warlord Khalifa Haftar based in Eastern Libya. The LNA, UAE, Ethiopia and Russia also backs the RSF in Sudan.<br><br>lsraeI has ties to all of the above except for Ansarullah, which is backed by Iran.
