Salary ranges for political appointment holders to widen: Chan Chun Sing

The salary ranges for political appointment holders will widen to 75 per cent to 125 per cent of the reference salary, said Coordinating Minister for Public Services Chan Chun Sing in parliament on Tuesday (Sep 8 ).

He added that the grade structure will also be streamlined for simplicity. For example, the peg for Mayors, Senior Parliamentary Secretaries, and Parliamentary Secretaries will be set at 0.45x of MR4 ministers.
