Hey bro. I recently lost my vehicle due to not being able to pay for it. I am currently a full time care giver for my mother since my dad passed away. He did leave my mom one of his trucks and she’s giving it to me since I been helping her everyday 15 hours a day. Which I am honored helping her but having no job and no car takes a huge toll on my life but my mom is the most important human being in the world to me and I would do anything for her. So I am completely honored being here for her even through all the hardship. The truck she gave me is an 1984 gmc 2500. It turns over but doesn’t start. Not sure why and what all I need to do with it to get it started but I really want to get this started so I can care for her more outside her house by going to the laundry mat for her. Going to the store for her. Right now we do a lot of Walmart orders that get delivered but sometimes they get the wrong stuff and me having a working vehicle would help her even more. I was wondering if you could help me out getting it started or coming to diagnose it for me to let me know why it’s not starting. The only catch 22 is that I’m in Wichita Falls tx. It’s about 4 hours from Tulsa. If you can that’s great. If you can’t and I can send you a video of me turning it over and you can give me a few possibilities that be great too. Just needing your help. Btw I lived and worked in Tulsa for a while myself. It’s a great place and city. I worked at the BOK center setting up concerts and performing changeovers like when they had the wnba putting down their floors and stuff like that. It’s was awesome being and there.

I've been a subscriber for quite a while, and I'm constantly watching your videos. I've watched you help people who have fallen on hard times, and I've wondered many times if you would ever consider coming all the way from Oklahoma to Indiana. I finally decided the only way I'd ever know was to tell you my story and ask.

I'll be 62 years old in October. Right now I live on $734 a month in Social Security survivor benefits after losing my wife, Debbie.

Debbie and I were together for more than 30 years. When she died, my whole world changed. There were memories everywhere, and I was struggling badly with losing the person I'd built my life around. I thought maybe getting away from some of those surroundings and helping someone else would give me a reason to keep moving forward.

I was 59 when I came here to help a 75-year-old woman named Mitzi. My reason for coming was to help fix up her house, make improvements and keep the property maintained for her.

But things changed after I made it clear to Mitzi that there would never be a romantic or sexual relationship between us.

I was mourning my wife then, and I'm still mourning her today. I don't want another relationship, and I never intend to have one. In my heart, I'm still married to Debbie. Death took my wife away from me, but it didn't make me stop loving her, and I've never considered myself a single man looking for somebody else.

After I made that clear to Mitzi, our relationship changed. She wouldn't allow me to make the improvements to the house that I'd come here intending to make, and eventually she turned against me.

Then things got even worse.

I totaled my car, and that's when I lost my driver's license. After Debbie died, I was grieving and trying to keep my life together, and I had forgotten to get the insurance and tags updated on the car. That's my responsibility, and I'm not trying to make excuses for it. It was something I had intended to take care of, but Debbie died before I got to it, and afterward it simply slipped my mind.

When I wrecked the car, everything caught up with me at once. I lost my car and my license.

I've basically been stranded where I live for the 2½ years I've been here. I live too far from town to walk, and without a license or a vehicle, even something as simple as getting somewhere becomes a problem.

The hardest part is that I want to work.

I mow yards and take whatever work I can get. If I had my driver's license back and a dependable used car, I could take on more mowing jobs, cleanups, odd jobs and other work. There are jobs I could be doing to help support myself, but without transportation I can't get to them.

I'm trying to survive on $734 a month. After paying basic living expenses, there simply isn't enough left over to solve the license and transportation problem on my own.

I'm not asking somebody to support me.

I'm asking for a chance to support myself.

That's why I'm reaching out to you. I've watched you help people who needed somebody to give them a hand getting back on their feet, and I've wondered if maybe my story would touch you enough to consider doing the same for me.

Would you ever consider making the trip from Oklahoma to Indiana to meet me, hear the rest of my story, and possibly help me get my driver's license straightened out and find dependable transportation so I can get back out there and work?

I don't expect anybody to fix my whole life. Nobody can give me back the one thing I'd want more than anything—my wife.

But getting my license back and having a car would give me back some independence. More importantly, it would give me the ability to work and start helping myself again.

I've learned that sometimes one loss can start an avalanche you never saw coming. I've made mistakes along the way, and I take responsibility for them. I'm still mourning, I'm still struggling, but I'm also still trying.

Whether you ever make it to Indiana or not, I'll continue being a subscriber and watching your videos. I appreciate what you do for people.

I just figured if I never told you my story and never asked, I'd never know.
