I wish there were more people like you, most people won't take the time to help someone in need, I have myself many times and alot of the people try to pay me and I thought of something to tell them in response to that, I tell them that I've already been paid and this is actually before they have paid me anything and they look at me like I'm a little crazy, I tell them that I've given them the ability to drive away, that is my payment for them to have the ability to drive away, especially if it is a woman since alot guys might expect some friendliness in return, I let them know that my sole ambition in pulling over is giving them the ability to drive away.

I will never forget the time I came home from the Navy for a few days, and was supposed to head back. It was a 11 hour drive to norfolk, VA from my house. I got a flat tire a few hours into my drive, i got out and put the spare on it. A few hours later and then my spare goes out on me. So im stranded hours from my base, no friends near by, no family, nothing but me. I waited for 2 hours hoping someone would help me. Finally this very friendly black family pulled over, and started talking to me. He looks at my tire and without me seeing him he went and told his wife the size of my tire. I watched her leave but didnt think anything of it, about 20 mins later she pulls up with a brand new tire for my car. He then helped me put it on. I tried my damndest to pay them but they refused to take my money because they had seen all my Navy uniforms in the back seat. I still think about that family to this day. I hope they are doing so well. They changed my life that day. I was not supposed to leave the state, had I not made it back for the muster on the boat come monday, my ass would have got in some serious trouble possibly even dishonorably discharged. Thankfully I managed to stay in for 20 years, and I still give that family the credit for it.

Being an xc90, I wouldn't doubt it if she got rearended by a semi at 60 MPH and only had that much damage. Mine was slammed into by a runaway tractor and bucket at 50 mph and only put a dent in the side.

My son is an Oklahoma State Trooper, and they are equipped specifically to help people change flat tires on the side of the road.
Carry a set of forceps in the truck to remove stickers. I keep some in my golf bag.
