Matt, Bailey and family, it's hard to know what to say with the loss of a loved one. We all want to say something profound that will put a cheer in the heart, but it doesn't usually work like that. You can tell a mans character by the fruits of his labor, and it's very apparent that your mother had a great influence on raising you, as the phrase says, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. You've got a good heart brother, it's very apparent to many of us. As you grieve, know that we do as well. There's nothing I can personally do to help you with this, grief has to be played out and there's no timeframe to it. Thank you for opening yourselves up to us with a peek into your lives during one of the hardest times of it. We love y'all and I wish you all the peace that Jesus can give to you.

I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. I know how much you loved and cared for her. And I know how much she loved you. Your family is amazing and I hadn’t heard that you lost her. I’ve been praying for you and all of your family. I’m sure you kept her safe and comfortable in her last days. God is taking care of her now. The way you speak about your faith is wonderful and I hope you got that faith from her and our Lord. Thank you again for sharing your family with all of us and praying for your heart to heal soon. I’m so sorry for your loss. Mom’s are the best. They raise us, kiss our boo boos when we were little kids, made the best food and would fight a Grizzly to protect us. My mom was my best friend. We lived 8 hours apart, so we talked almost every day. I lost her to cancer in 2003 and I still miss her as if I lost her yesterday. I recently lost my dad back in March to the same damn disease. I’ve been taught and I’ve taught my kids to never hate, but dammit, I hate that disease. It took two of the most important people in my life. Cherish your memories with your mom and family. It truly helps, especially when you’re down, crying and missing her. Just think of the happy, healthy times you all had together. Like I always say, my parents are in a better place with God. No more pain, no more suffering and infinite life in paradise with Jesus Christ. God bless you guys and REST EASY, to your mom. 💔
Hey Matt, I know how hard this is, I never got to say goodbye to my mother, she unfortunately took her life August 6th 2016. These many years have been rough, but I only made it this far, by God’s grace alone. I’m truly sorry that you lost your mom, and one day we will see our moms again. Stay close to Jesus Matt, those who draw near to Him, He draws near to them. Thank you for sharing your heart, I mourn with you bud, I’ll be praying for you and your family, I can’t promise everyday as I tend to forget things, but I’ll do my best. ✝️
