The Singapore government believes in being transparent about ministerial salaries, said Prime Minister Lawrence Wong in parliament on Tuesday (Sep 8).

“We cannot avoid this issue simply because it is politically difficult,” he added. Mr Wong was delivering his ministerial statement on the government's response to the review of salaries for political appointment holders and MPs.
