Salary adjustments to cost about S$5m more annually if maximum increase applied: Chan Chun Sing

The salary adjustments will cost about S$5 million more annually if all political appointment holders get the maximum 9 per cent increase, and about S$6.6 million more annually for MPs, said Coordinating Minister for Public Services Chan Chun Sing in parliament on Tuesday (Sep 8).

Mr Chan was delivering his ministerial statement on the government’s response to the review of salaries for political appointment holders and MPs.
