Using a "low volatility " engine oil will really help reduce carbon build up on the intake valves of a GDI engine. Less evaporation from the crankcase will keep the intake cleaner. One of the LOWEST volatility oils currently on the market is "Pennzoil ULTRA-PLATINUM" synthetic oil. Even Amsoil cannot match it. Pennzoil is manufactured from natural gas!

Took my car for service at dealership. They drained and flushed my transmission fluid but probably didn’t refill it correctly and my car broke down in the freeway. I had to pay 4K for engine replacement. Sketchy.
Thank you so much for this information cause I never heard of these reset fixes. This could not come at a better time for the symbol that refers to the Electronic Transmission Control Module just came on the dash board. I did what it says to do. Stop. Put car into park and set parking brake. Turn key off. Wait a few seconds then start engine. If indicator lamp goes out in a few seconds normal transmission performance has been restored. You can continue to drive as usual. My 2001 BMW 325xi the light went out and after driving a few blocks it was right back on and acted the same way as before. I can't wait to try this. I'll be sure to let you know if this takes care of the limp mode problem I'm having.

Never go to the dealer go to a reputable independent shop avoid advertising and coupon cheap fly by nite shops develop a report and do complete job don’t skip the seals on a timing belt job go for off brand cheap parts be annal and get it correctly preventative maintenance see me now or see me later drive correctly and plan your trips … take care of your car good gas 91 good synthetic oils and recommended spec in a high end brand change oil 5k or once a year no additives unless recommended by a certified technician and read the instructions
My dealer has put 10w40 semi synthetic oil instead of 5w30 how much impact it do to engine in cold starts as I see consider increase in engine voice in cold starts

I have a question I have a Ford Taurus 2014 50,000 mi<br>Music computer before my friend has one garage I know it how much is a Ford dealership they replace the battery and my battery was an old my dad is a mechanic and he's wanting to know you don't do much engine work anymore so he said that that's okay let me change the battery but I went ahead and waited and they said they let me knowwhen in timing 10 was don another man called you this later and said it's a timing chain being broke and possibly flying off into the engine you better just go ahead and put a new engine in it for 12 Grand I asked him if I come up on the computer to replace the engine it didn't say anything about that it just said something about replacing the timing chain I don't know where he came from but he just thought that was the best thing to do is wrong I don't know if that's right maybe the battery wasn't he needed to be touched andI'd like to see the report on that or the car you know the center or whatever she said

for transmission pans that are sealed remove pan and drill and tap a 1/2 inch hole in the pan. Install your own drain plug.

Dumbest thing car makers ever done was stop putting automatic transmission dipsticks in i have a 2009 ford falcon with 140000 kms on it i bought it with 1360000 kms I'm pretty sure its fluid has never been replaced also have a 2003 Falcon with a 170000kms which also has probably not been serviced not to mention that the oil coolers on these cars use the same radiator as your coolant so can mix with your coolant and cause the dreaded milk shake which can stuff your gearbox an possibly your engine i have been meaning to address this problem by fitting a after market oil cooler i better get it done before its to late just a used gearbox can be 3-4 grand these cars are only worth about 5.5grand in good nick and they are getting hard to find in good condition because Youtubers are trashing them for likes 🔥💩🏡🚪🇦🇺🙃
