I have a 2008 Chevy Impala that doesn't want to move , I start my car easy no problem and put in drive and you get maybe the start of a crawl with the rpm's going up high now on my dash I have the traction control service on with the stabilitrack light on and I have all kinds of sensors where do I start ?

Some of these tips are also cheap and easy ways to narrow down the real issue. Our 2007 Toyota Matrix started acting up and after checking the throttle and MAF was able to figure out the alternator was actually the issue.

Thanks. I was having several of these issues. I need at least three of them. I have been taken advantage of by mechanics. One scared me saying I had a crack in my engine block and it could kill my children while I was driving on the expressway. I was terrified and paid for the repair. When I came to get my car I asked to see the crack. I insisted. When I walked over I saw the same new engine sitting where it had been that morning. He hadn’t changed it. Just cleaned the one in my car. I paid with my credit card and wasn’t able to get a refund. I couldn’t prove I hadn’t received the service. Hundreds of dollars. Food out of my children’s mouths and clothes off of their backs. I avoid them if I possibly can.
