I am at this moment working on a front axle as my first project. I learned very much from doing that. It might be overwhelming but my father with 25 years experience guided me so that made it easier.
I have, like, no degrees because I was never really educated due to my parents. I am now 17, and, like my grandfather who has unfortunately passed away, I have decided to start to learn about cars so I can become a successful mechanic. I really hope, and I will work hard on this, but I really hope I get somewhere with this. I really have to learn, since I can barely eat 3 good meals that fill my stomach a day, but in general, I find this stuff really cool! I am sure me working hard will end up getting me somewhere so I can be financially stable. Thank you for this video! 🥲
23 here, never even done an oil change so here for guidance
ask the bosnians...they only need confidence and zero knowledge they can repair space shuttles
Good pacing on this one.

I started learning car repairs by watching videos just like this and trying small jobs myself — changing filters, replacing brake pads, diagnosing weird noises
If you like this video a wheel will pop up
4:24
hose👯♀️ or line. 😈 😂
Somehow I feel like this guy never actually done anything on a car
Holy cornball
The editing and camera work on this was really clean. I like when car videos focus on the actual process instead of adding a bunch of fake reactions or unnecessary drama. Makes it way more enjoyable to watch and easier to learn from too.

A few months ago I had a similar issue checked out at Bergman’s Auto Repair, and the mechanic there explained everything in such a normal down-to-earth way that I finally started understanding what was going on with my car instead of just nodding along pretending I knew
You need tools for different things
Are these gloves safe to work with the car engine and other parts heat? Shouldn’t cloth gloves be safer?
Cheap but new nothing used
Yes thank you for the videos , your awesome for being truthfully and hopefully you help us fix our own car, I had a z and got scammed and took them to fix it for over an year
I liked the video before the dance you dufus
Thanks bro for the information
Gotta learn this skill before i get married in the future
This is a great beginner-friendly breakdown. I started learning car repairs by watching videos just like this and trying small jobs myself — changing filters, replacing brake pads, diagnosing weird noises. The first time I misdiagnosed a simple issue and replaced the wrong part, I realized how important proper troubleshooting really is.

DIY learning is powerful, but having experienced guidance makes a huge difference. That’s why for bigger jobs or when I’m unsure, I rely on Bergman’s Auto Repair. They’ve always taken the time to explain what’s happening under the hood instead of just handing over a bill. As they say, “Knowledge fixes cars experience fixes them right.”
4:24 saw that buddy you ain’t slick lmao

But where do i even fix it , generaly the lease deal does not allow to fix car in the garage. Where can i rent a garage for cheap or even rent a house which allows me to fix the car in the home garage itself. Please help in this topic

My whole exhaust system was doing «something/s) wrong, spewed out thick exhaust and smelled horrible almost killing me while standing next to it because of fumes. Changed 1 sensor the size of my finger for 20$, fixed :) Didn’t even need to delete codes.

This is a good video to start with. Thank you for the information!
Thanks
I would suggest going to a (pick your parts junk yard) and follow YouTube videos until you learn the fundamentals and I have considered this and then just buying a part whenever I walk out so maybe they don't cause me any grief.
a 17yr old is telling us how to work on a car?.. what?
I really want to start learning how to fix cars as I just got my first car just at 21 and I got scammed 4 times by 4 different mechanics and I am sick of these mechanics from my country
I am 13 and wanna buy a ford probe for 500 bucks and my parents dont want to allow me😢
❤❤❤
I trust a mechanic much more, because I remember a video didn’t go into detail about the repair and I ended up breaking the headlight housing. An experienced eye would’ve seen that issue or knew where fragile parts are. Ended up getting the sockets replaced, a new headlight housing and new wiring for the headlight. It was just old and need new parts I underestimated how old the car was. 2003 Chevy express 1500
Commenting for algo !
