Humanity needs to stop using the sky “as an open sewer”, former US vice-president and environmental activist Al Gore told CNA on Monday (Sep 7). Mr Gore said ongoing air pollution has pushed Earth’s temperatures to record numbers and added that its effects were seen in the recent Nepal-Tibet disaster on Aug 26.

Mr Gore is in Singapore at a training event held by The Climate Reality, a non-profit organisation that he founded in 2006 to educate the public on the climate crisis and advocate for clean energy solutions. #usnews #usa #algore #climatecrisis
