I'm a US/Swiss liberal. But this is what happens when political parties don't respond to their citizens. I'd never vote AfD and I'm sure there are some racists. But Germans have real concerns about immigration, the economy, and the German (and European) political elite seem to think they can just rule as they like and ignore the people. well, democracy doesn't work like that.
