Ukraine and Russia are turning logistics into a battlefield | Eastern Express

Ukrainian drones are striking distribution hubs inside Russia that are linked to military supplies, while Russian strikes are hitting civilian warehouses across Ukraine – destroying food, drinking water, household products, and other essential goods.

For Ukraine, the consequences go far beyond damaged buildings. With winter approaching, attacks on warehouses, refrigeration facilities and distribution networks could disrupt supplies, increase prices and put even more pressure on businesses and ordinary consumers. Ukrainian companies are already adapting by spreading goods across smaller facilities, but this comes with higher transport, insurance and operating costs. Continued attacks could also make it harder for international companies to operate and invest in Ukraine.
