A hanging is most humane than life in Prison and the electric chair and death by injection(which fails more than you know) that's for sure *again if proven beyond doubt one is guilty and the crime warrants the punishment

There’s lots of things that CNN can’t independently certify, why aren’t you using words like “ a person familiar with the matter“, “informed sources“. This is exactly what should happen to people who manufacture and distribute drugs, hopefully she has her haircut off before hanging and donates it to a good cause where it can be helpful. Yep, they all go a little crazy once they get sentenced for what they’ve been charged and convicted of. CNN, taking turns at the bottom of the barrel.

Funny comments from Americans while their government abducts, torture, deport, kill both domestically and internationally without legality or due process, assassinate, bomb, falsely accuse to starve entire countries, occupy people's lands, loot other countries' resources and use religious groups such as Jews to blackmail all West Asian countries.

I have an idea why don't they put drug dealers to work tater Liberty for the time and then put them to work so that they can pay back society or put them working in drug treatment centres for 5 years and have a fine as well to pay. I can understand if it was a paedophile and yes drug trafficking is right up there at the top but there is Hope and redemption for them not for paedophiles they should just be hung straight up

Where do you get your information exactly
In 2025, global executions surged to the highest level in 44 years, with Amnesty International recording 2,707 executions in 17 countries, a 78% increase from 1,518 in 2024 and the highest figure since 1981. The rise was primarily driven by Iran, which accounted for 80% of the global total, while China remained the world's lead executioner with thousands believed executed but kept as a state secret. The five countries with the most executions were China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the United States, in that order, with Saudi Arabia raising its total to 356, and drug-related offenses accounting for 1,257 executions or 46% of the known total.

CNN as always
In 2024, Amnesty International recorded 1,518 known executions in just 15 countries, a 32% increase from 1,153 in 2023 and the highest total since 2015, even though the number of executing countries was the lowest on record for a second year. China remains the world's top executioner with thousands believed executed, but its figures are a state secret, so the official count excludes China, Vietnam and North Korea. Of the documented total, Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia were responsible for 91% (1,380 executions): Iran executed at least 972 people (64% of the global total), Saudi Arabia at least 345, its highest ever, and Iraq at least 63, nearly four times its 2023 figure, followed by Yemen (38+), Somalia (34) and the United States (25). Over 42% of executions (637) were for drug-related offenses in violation of international law, while globally 113 countries have fully abolished the death penalty and 145 have abolished it in law or practice.
