Defence Dynamics | LAC पर भारत-चीनके नए हॉटलाइन संपर्क

भारत और चीन ने LAC पर military communication मजबूत करने के लिए नए mechanisms पर सहमति बनाई है। Eastern और Middle sectors में दो अतिरिक्त hotline channels और military commanders के लिए additional meeting points बनाए जाने हैं। इसका उद्देश्य है कि किसी local confrontation या misunderstanding को बड़े military escalation में बदलने से पहले commanders के बीच direct communication हो सके।

लेकिन hotline का मतलब border dispute का settlement नहीं है। Territorial differences और strategic competition अपनी जगह बने रहेंगे। इसलिए भारत के लिए सही approach है—communication channels खुले रखना, लेकिन military preparedness और deterrence को मजबूत बनाए रखना।
