DFC Network Set To Transform Freight #dedicatedfreightcorridor

India’s Dedicated Freight Corridor network has reached 2,843 km of operational connectivity, comprising 1,337 km of the Eastern DFC and 1,506 km of the Western DFC.

The freight-only network is designed to decongest passenger routes, reduce transit delays and logistics costs, support longer and double-stack container trains, and strengthen connectivity with ports and cargo terminals.
