Why is he "deeply shocked". The handwriting has been on the wall for months now.

Results of this election are: Incompetent spainless politicians will be replaced by even more incompetent spainless ones. Bad thing when more challenging times are ahead competency and integrity are crucial for prosperity and safety of civil life.

FRANCE 24
its highly hypocritical and deliberate disinformation by elites and media of calling opposition AFD " far right " this is done deliberately to sow confusion and thereby hate.

Of course he is shocked. These people are so arrogant that it never occurs to them that they could be wrong about anything.

People reject the way Germany has been heading for the past decade and they don’t recognize their country.
Europe is waking up, France and England will follow. Spain will the last.
America did it. So Europe can as well.
Well done conservatives !!
Take back your country.

All that talk about democracy makes it sound like he's up to no good, so let's just hope the new party gets a foothold and nothing happens to the members.

You cannot take all the money to Ukraine and expect Germany to vote you maybe you will seek vote in Ukraine

Instead of complaining about the problem of the rising far right, why not talk about resolving the problems of economic stagnation and out of control irregular migration? Crying and failing to recognize the real problems will not solve a damn thing 😬

Past instances of the rise of the afd really should have been a call to action for left wing German political parties to address voter concerns instead of calling them and their supporters waycist.

The easiest way was to change their stance on immigration. If they did that then the afd would have had nothing much else to go on.

But no, the media will keep calling them waycist.

I'm shocked he is shocked. Time is up for him Mr middle class arrogant Merz. He brings, no ambition and creative, he becomes the problem not solution by creating unnecessary tension and ordinary people are paying the price. What we need is stability, harmony, and affordable energy so households and industries can function properly. Ending the conflict and focusing on policies that support peace and economic growth would help our energy sector and wider industry operate at their full potential.

the left is shocked 🤣. for destroying their country. Not surprised by AFD win
@andrewcharlton2709
The fact that he says we are shocked; I am sorry, but this was foretold. The fact that you have to form a coalition with everyone means there is ultimately only one party left to vote for, making it a foolish coalition.
