The Special Needs Education teachers have warned that they could down their tools if their grievances are not urgently addressed. Among the issues they urgently want addressed is the implementation of Public Petition Number 76 of 2023, which they say seeks to address longstanding concerns over grading, promotions, career progression and representation. Speaking in Meru, the teachers, led by their National Chairman Edwin Juma Gituma, said they have continued serving learners despite challenges affecting their career growth and welfare.
