21 explosive devices found in German sabotage probe

A hunt for a suspected saboteur has taken a disturbing turn.

German authorities are searching for a 48-year-old man who allegedly claimed responsibility for a series of attacks targeting the power network.

Letters sent to officials and media reportedly cited opposition to fossil fuels as the motive. Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt says the evidence points to what he described as “climate extremism.”
