Witnesses in the formal inquest of Anele Tembe testify in the Cape Town Magistrates Court

Witnesses in the formal inquest of Anele Tembe, the fiancée of late rapper Kiernan AKA Forbes, have testified in the Cape Town Magistrates Court that they found the hotel room occupied by the couple upside down, filthy with blood stains on the bedding, towels and a bathroom wall, as well as around a champagne bottle found on a chair. A fourth witness, Robert Staffanutto, who stays close to the hotel, said he heard loud shouting between a couple, with a female voice saying Leave me alone and get away from me. Later, he heard a wailing scream of a woman followed by a loud bang and a male voice saying Oh my God, oh my God, " twice. Tembe fell from the tenth floor of a hotel in the Cape Town CBD in April 2026. Six witnesses have been called in to testify
