Matlala and co-accused are back in the High Court in Johannesburg for continuation of trial

The main trial has paused to allow for a trial within a trial where alleged gunman Musa Kekana is fighting to have evidence obtained during his arrest inadmissible in court.

The five stand accused of attempting and conspiring to kill socialite Tebogo Thobejane, businessman Joe Sibanyoni and music producer Seunkie Mokubung.
