Parties announce mayoral candidates for 2026 LGE

With about two months left before the November 2026 local government elections, political parties continue to step up their campaigns and put forward their candidates for key municipalities across the country.

The GOOD Party in the Western Cape has announced its mayoral candidate in Cape Town, while the UDM launched its manifesto for Johannesburg and announced its mayoral candidate for the metro in Alexandra.
