Madlanga Commission | Suspended TMPD Director Tshukudu Malatji testifies

Suspended Director for Asset Protection Services at the Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD), Tshukudu Malatji, has defended an email he sent to Major Lebohang Phiri. In the email, Malatji wrote that Phiri should "run with the process", a phrase Phiri interpreted as an instruction to continue with the deployment of ad hoc security services. Malatji has been accused of alleged tender manipulation linked to payments of over 80-million rand to Gubis85 Solutions in five months.
