Malombo Festival | Celebrating African culture

The spirit of Africa was on show at the annual Malombo Cultural Festival in Polokwane, Limpopo.

According to various cultures and traditions, the month of September signifies a new season, or a new year.

The festival which seeks to preserve African indigenous knowledge systems and use of traditional medicines, is the brainchild of traditional herbalist, Mpho Makhado.
