The ClickFix scam tricks users into installing malware themselves instead of directly hacking their systems. Fake CAPTCHAs, browser errors, Cloudflare verification and update messages instruct victims to copy and paste malicious commands. Believing they are fixing a technical issue, users unknowingly execute hacker-provided commands, allowing malware to download onto their computers.
