Water Security Gets A Massive Boost #rainwaterharvesting

#WATCH | Water conservation in India is evolving from a government-led initiative into a nationwide people’s movement through Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari and Catch the Rain. Over 1.5 crore water conservation and groundwater recharge structures have already been created, surpassing the target under the campaign’s second phase.

The government has now set a new target of 2 crore structures by May 31, 2027, focusing on rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge and water security.
