SAPS Commemoration Day | SAPS Educational Trust supports children of fallen police officers

The South African Police Service (SAPS) established the South African Police Service Education Trust (SAPSET), an educational trust fund that supports children whose parents or guardians have died in the line of duty.

SAPS Head of Corporate Communication and Liason, Major General Nonkululeko Phokane explained to SABC News reporter Ofentse Setimo how SAPSET steps in to support children, sometimes very young, who have lost a parent or guardian.
