Zingara circus returns to Joburg with royal spectacle

After more than a decade away from Johannesburg, The Royal Countess Zingara is making a grand return to the city with La Dolce Royal, a lavish new dinner-cirque production opening at Melrose Arch on 20 June 2026.

Following a sold-out run in Cape Town, the experience transforms Zingara's iconic Spiegeltent into an ochre-coloured royal enclosure inspired by African kingdoms, ancient trade routes and the art of hospitality, blending circus artistry, theatre, live music and fine dining.
