I went down the street on my big wheel at three years old. I was climbing the house and climbing trees. I walked in mile to school since kindergarten. I also did my own laundry in those years. I woke up by myself and woke my brother up and did this all together alone. Mom.\nAnd dad were working.

When I grew up my parents let us ride bikes, go to the neighbors, etc. We walked blocks to school at 5 and 6 once our parents knew we knew how to get there safely.

We played outside by ourselves and we were told be home by the time the street lights came on. Our generation took a lot of life risks and we are the toughest generation because our parents didn't coddle us, they raised us to be tough. We were raised by post war baby boomers.
