big big thank you for mentioning that veganism and vegetarianism is very nice for the animals, most of them talk about climate etc but FACTORY FARMING IS THE BIGGEST AND WORST CRIME EVER HAPPENED on earth, maybe even in the universe... (84.000.000.000 animals slaughtered every year, animals living in water not included (that would make approx. 184.000.000.000))

As someone who loves to eat but also loves to have a 6 pack and an Adonis belt but also vegan for the animals my solution that worked in the end was:

1. About 1600kcal-1800kcal a day

2. About 20000 steps a day, on a walking pad under my standing desk, takes me a little under 4hrs

3. Lots of planks, ATM I do a plank progression where your elbows touch the floor not under your shoulders but decently in front of them, this adds a lot of difficulty to your abs, good posture is essential, it's very easy to plank without hitting your abs and you'll know because your abs won't hurt. I do side planks over the side of the bed, upper body on the bed, oblique at the edge of the mattress, hold my legs horizontal over the empty space beyond the mattress. Build up duration and sets per day, I started with one regular 1 minute plank per day, but 6 months later I now plank for 2.5 minutes 12 times a day, yes, literally 30 minutes of (progressed) planking a day. And yes, you do need ab work for a 6 pack, I spent a stupid number of years thinking all I had to do was lose fat because of the "and are made in the kitchen" mantra. Turns out you need to do both...

4. Definitely overkill but I have about 180g protein a day, all from vegan fake chicken. Definitely don't need this much, but helps me feel satiated, I'm also getting around 60g fibre because the vegan soy protein I use from Iceland (English store) is thankfully high fibre.

6. I have an apple and 500g frozen veg (microwaved) to get roughage and vitamins, and supplement a few things vegans don't get, creatine is a big one, 5g a day right after breakfast, really helps me make smart decisions, better than any nootropics I've ever had, if you do intense exercise it's helpful too I believe but my exercise is not intense at all so can't give first hand experience

7. You're a product of your lifestyle, keep track of your lifestyle. It's true that 1 cookie here or there won't ruin you, but how often are you actually "treating" yourself? If it's actually 500kcal of junk a day on average that'll seriously slow you down

8. Snacking slows you down exponentially, no one should eat like a machine, tasty food helps give life meaning, but I add sweet chilli sauce as "empty" calories, I could cut it from my meals and reduce my intake by about 300kcal a day, but those 300kcal add loads of satisfaction. Better than 300kcal of biscuits, etc. but if I added another 300kcal on top of that indulgence not only would I half my ~600kcal deficit, doubling my time taken to cut fat, but it'd be diminishing returns on enjoyment. Find your sweet spot, your balance, between speed and enjoyment. It's a marathon not a sprint. But don't let that mindset cause you to go TOO slowly by treating yourself too much.

Homo genus/erectus/habilis (human ancestors) emerged in Africa roughly 2-3 million years ago. Homo sapiens (Modern Humans) evolved around 300,000 years ago in Africa. Until agriculture was developed around 10,000 years ago, all humans got their food by hunting, gathering, and fishing.
There are thousands of studies where they did stable isotope testing on the colagen out of unearthed bones from humans and human ancesters. All these researches show the same results within a 5 % range: 80% fatty meat - 20% tubers. Tubers where survival food just in case the hunt was unsucsesfull.

We evolved out of apes. When our ape ancesters climbed out of the trees to live on the land the only food that was mostly available was meat. We liked the taste, kept eating mostly meat for millions of years and adapted to this. In the beginning we didn't know how to hunt so we had to be scavengers, we had to eat the remains other carnivores had left behind. That's why our stomach has a ph of between 1 and 2 so we wouldn't get sick of eating the rotten meat. Later we developed tools, language etc. so we could hunt down animals ourself and eat fresh meat. Later we discovered that certain tubers, roots, fruits and nuts where partially edible when properly prepared. We used this plant matter as survival food just in case the hunt was unsucsesfull.

What about cavemen drawings? Because global databases tallying every single piece of prehistoric rock art do not exist, it is impossible to give an exact, absolute universal percentage for all "cavemen" drawings. However, archeologists have conducted extensive quantitative motif analyses on regional rock art corpora. When looking at the global data, there is a massive, unmistakable asymmetry: hunting and animals dominate prehistoric art, while plants and the digging of tubers are statistically exceptionally rare.

Across the millions of documented rock art motifs worldwide, the general distribution looks roughly like this:

(Motif Category/Estimated Global Percentage/Notes)

- Animals / Megafauna 50% – 70% Heavily dominates European, African, and American Paleolithic art.
- Anthropomorphs (Human Figures) 15% – 25% Includes hunters, dancers, shamans, and gatherers.
- Geometric / Abstract Signs 15% – 25% Handprints, dots, lines, and cultural symbols.
- Flora / Plants (Including Tubers) Way under 1% Virtually absent globally, with a few major regional exceptions.

"This video is an absolute masterpiece of educational satire. I really love how you debunk common health myths—like 'detox' toxins or the obsession with antioxidants—using such sharp, deadpan humor. Your explanation of calories and macronutrients is surprisingly clear and more informative than most serious health channels. The way you break down various diets, from Keto to Carnivore, while poking fun at their communities, is both hilarious and spot-on. It’s rare to find content that makes me laugh out loud while actually teaching me the fundamentals of biology and fitness. Brilliant work on keeping it simple, cynical, and incredibly engaging!"
