#Germany braces for key regional #vote as #AfD leads polls

Germany’s Saxony-Anhalt heads to the polls on September 6, with the far-right, Russia-friendly AfD leading the polls ahead of the closely watched regional election.

The result could reshape the political landscape well beyond the eastern state as the party seeks to expand its influence across Germany.
